The Power of Summer Intentionality

Summer often promises rest, reset, and reconnection—but too often, it drifts by in a blur of distractions, packed schedules, or passive scrolling. What if this summer could be different?

What if these next few months became the turning point—where your ordinary days transformed into a season of intentional, Spirit-led ministry?

That’s the invitation at the heart of my new book, Kingdom Living: How Your Ordinary Days Become Extraordinary Ministry, launching May 10.

This summer, I want to invite you to join me in stepping fully into the life Jesus invites us to live: one marked by love, presence, purpose, and quiet obedience right where we are.

In Kingdom Living, I share how God called me into ministry not through a platform, but through the everyday. I had ideas about what ministry should look like—stage lights, big moments, formal roles. But over the years, He gently showed me a different way:

“God has never been impressed with performance. He’s drawn to availability.”

The ministry that transforms lives often happens:

• at the dinner table

• in the hallway conversation

• during a 5-minute prayer in the car

• through a quiet act of love when no one else sees

This book is built around a 40-day journey—forty short devotionals that help you see your life as sacred, your days as significant, and your current season as a holy opportunity to partner with God.

Summer has a rhythm unlike any other season. It invites reflection, slowness, and new starts. With longer days and (hopefully) fewer demands, we have an opening to live with greater intentionality—to reset our spiritual rhythms, focus our hearts, and ask:

• Who is God inviting me to love today?

• How can I realign my habits with Kingdom values?

• What does it mean to serve in the hidden places?

This summer, let’s choose to make space—not just for beach trips and BBQs (those are good too!)—but for God to move deeply in and through us.
